| Description | They are a big soft, fluffy hens which like to free range. Due to their size – wingspan ratio they are unable to fly making them the perfect hen for areas with low fencing. Generally Orpingtons are extremely friendly and relaxed hens, they also weather well through the winter months thanks to their plumage. You may also find they often go broody but do make great mothers. |

| Delivery | All deliveries are handled by our own vans and experienced team, with 18 convenient collection points across Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, East Sussex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, South Wales, Derbyshire, and Lancashire.We generally have collections every 6 weeks from late February until mid September. Private deliveries are only possible for 10 or more birds and subject to route availability. |
| Guarantee | All birds are guaranteed for 7 days from delivery provided they have had access to rehydration solution for that period. We stock ‘Hydrate a Hen’ and ‘Vit a Hen’ for this purpose. |
